3 NEW Flows You Need To Set Up Right Now

It’s Konrad from DTC Inbox.
Klaviyo has recently rolled out a new update.
And within this update, they’ve rolled out 3 new metrics which means you can set up 3 new flows.
Let’s cover what these are and how to set them up.

Setup
Before I show you what these flows are, you need to update your Klaviyo integration.
Go to your Klaviyo → Integrations → Shopify → click on “Get started” under “Onsite tracking”.
After you’ve completed the update, it should look like this:
Abandoned Cart
This technically isn’t a new flow.
You could and should have it set up before.
But to do this you’d need to install this metric manually.
And the new metric that Klaviyo rolled out is waaaay more accurate than the installed ones.
On some of the accounts we see 50% more events being collected.
So if you have this flow right now, clone it with a new metric from Shopify.
If you don’t have it, make sure to set it up and it’ll help you recover way more carts.
Collection Abandonment
Metric: Viewed Collection
This flow is for anyone who’s viewed a specific collection but didn’t view any product.
The idea behind this one is simple - recommend best-sellers from the collection someone viewed.
Previously, your site abandonment flow would do this.
Collection Abandonment flow allows you to personalize the customer experience even more.
Remember to exclude this metric from your site abandonment flow too.
Search Abandonment
Metric: Search Submitted
If someone submitted a search but didn’t buy from you, they most likely lack something.
Maybe they couldn’t find the right product, maybe they have some extra questions.
It’s important to set up this flow and make your subscribers feel like you’re always there for them.
That’s a small gesture that those undecided will appreciate.

All of these flows won’t get you any results if your deliverability is bad.
So you need to make sure that you never land in spam and all your emails go straight into the primary tab instead.
