4th of July Done Right

Summer is usually a slower period and a lot of brands slow down.

Unless sell seasonal products, it might be the case for you.

But before things cool off in July/August, you can make a bank in June/early July.

Because of 2 events:

  1. Father’s Day.

  2. 4th of July.

And because of the overall summer angle but I’ll cover that in my next email.

You see, for some reason everyone pushes hard their Mother’s Day sales and promos but they don’t do it for Father’s Day.

If your product can be gifted to someone’s father, start sending campaigns promoting this angle.

I guarantee it’ll work.

You can even repeat your Mother’s Day sale schedule and just tweak it a bit.

This one is fairly simple but 4th of July is where the real money is.

For some of our clients it’s second best period of the year (after BFCM).

That’s mainly because of 3 reasons:

  1. They treat it like an opportunity as big as BFCM.

  2. They start early.

  3. They send 4-5 emails a week + 1x SMS a week.

So after you’re done reading this email, spend 1-2 hours and plan your 4th of July promo.

Create bundles, try discounts above certain threshold or free gifts with purchase above X.

Come up with an offer that will increase your AOV and allow your existing customers to spend more.

Then send at least 3-5 email campaigns every week and I guarantee you won’t regret.
