5 Quick Email Design Wins

Hey, it’s Konrad here.

I’ve been reviewing and auditing A LOT of emails and accounts recently so let me share 5 quick email design wins with you.

  1. Always optimize your above the fold - that’s what maximizes clicks. Have header, subheader + CTA (button) visible without having to scroll.

  2. Use bigger font - that’s for both copy and buttons. Bigger font = better readability - especially on mobile.

  3. Make your emails skimmable - some people read, some people skim. A simple way to do this is by adding subheaders to each of your body sections/paragraphs.

  4. Use infographics - think of it as putting static ads inside your emails. We’ve been doing it and some of our clients are using these elements as ads/social media posts later on. They’re engaging and easy to read.

  5. Avoid repetitiveness - if all your emails look the same and seem like a copy & paste work, they won’t convert that well. They’ll still do the job but freshness is what keeps subscribers engaged.

As a quick action step for today - go implement steps #1-3. They won’t take much time and you’ll start seeing better results right away.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Konrad
