Be your own customer
Whenever you look at the biggest brands in the world, they all focus on one thing: providing the best user experience possible.
From the first click to the conversion to the repeat order, everything is well designed and thought through.
And while this sound obvious, many brands completely ignore this when planning their email campaigns, flows and list growth.
It’s like they log into Klaviyo and forget that emails indeed land in the inbox but the entire journey starts from the pop-up.
You can’t just randomly blast it without answering these questions:
What’s my average session time?
What’s the landing or product page that drives the most new users?
Do my other pop-ups overlap?
But the most important question is - Would you be your own customer?
This is fundamentally the best way to optimize not only your emails but most importantly, the entire customer journey.
Cause if you go through it and get annoyed or confused, you can be sure your customers will be even more annoyed or confused.
That’s why I encourage you to go through your customer journey today and just analyze it.
Make a note of what you like and dislike and take it from here.
Just remember to focus on the whole journey, not only email or the pop-up.
Once you do it, the entire experience will get better and you’ll start making more sales pretty much overnight.
