Email #1 - Customer Thank You (Send Immediately)

  • Show genuine appreciation.

  • Highlight your mission/impact.

  • Make them feel good about their purchase.

Email #2 - Cross-Sell (Test 1 hour vs 1 day delay)

  • Strike while they're in buying mode.

  • Show only relevant complementary products.

  • Keep it simple.

Email #3 - Remove Buyer's Remorse (1-2 days later)

  • A personal note from founder.

  • Reinforce their smart decision.

  • Share your brand values.

Email #4 - Product Instructions (2-3 days later)

  • Clear instructions - how to use the product step by step.

  • Set proper expectations.

  • Timeline for seeing results.

Email #5 - Building Community (3-4 days later)

  • Feature one main social channel.

  • Show clear benefits of following.

  • Share behind-the-scenes content.

Email #6 - Referral/Loyalty Program (15-21 days later)

  • Introduce your program.

  • Show clear benefits.

  • Focus on what’s in it for the customer.

Emails #7/8 - NPS Score + Reviews (30 days later)

  • Send an NPS score email - rate us 1-10.

  • Direct happy customers to review sites - those who rate 8-10.

  • Get feedback from unhappy ones - those who rate 1-7.

The Secret Sauce

The magic isn't in sending more emails - it's in sending the right emails at the right time.

If someone loves your product, they'll buy again.
