Fixing Low Trustpilot Score

Hey, it’s Konrad from the DTC Inbox.

In 2026, consumers are more skeptical than ever.

There are just too many different scams literally everywhere.

And the truth is that you displaying reviews on your site isn't the best way to show social proof.

Mainly because it is on your website, and for customers that means you control what reviews are visible.

So the obvious way to check if a potential brand is legit is to Google their name and check sites like Trustpilot.

Now, there are two ways to collect reviews for these third party sites - the easy (lazy) one and the right one.

The easy one will get you a mix of good and bad reviews.

Mainly because it’s just sending an email to every customer who has bought.

And here’s where it fails - people who’re fed up with their order are way more likely to leave you a bad review.

Especially since you can’t incentivize your customers to leave a positive one as it’s against Trustpilot’s policy.

What you should do instead is filter out unsatisfied customers before you ask them to leave a review.

You can do it easily by implementing an NPS score system.

I recorded an entire video showing you how to do it step by step.

Hope that helps,
Konrad
