I know that Retention is this weird term that everyone mentions and talks about but not many brands actually dive in and try to understand the why behind it.
On the surface level, it’s actually quite simple - it’s all about retaining your existing clients and getting them to spend more with you.
It is important but the reason why you should be doing it is what might make or break your business.
And that reason is simple - so you can compete and win in your market.
You see, growing your business will never be easier. The easy times are gone.
It’ll only get harder, acquisition will get more and more expensive and competitors will be undercutting you on price.
That in itself is the reason why retention is so important - so you can survive and beat your competition on the backend (which they can’t see and steal btw, unlike ads for example).
