I've been diving deep into A/B testing lately, and I wanted to share something really important that most brands get wrong.

You see, the difference between stores making 6 figures and those crushing it at 8-9 figures (with 30-40% of revenue from email) often comes down to how they optimize their Klaviyo account.

Here's the thing - optimizing your email performance isn't just about trying random stuff to see what sticks.

It's about having a clear plan and knowing exactly what you want to improve.

Analyzing current performance, defining bottlenecks and coming up with potential solutions that might fix them.

Think of it like a science experiment from grade school, but instead of making volcanoes with baking soda, we're making money.

Here’s a quick list of A/B tests you can run to optimize all areas of your Klaviyo account:

List growth tests:

  1. Test your offer first (% off vs $ off)

  2. Try a mystery offer (this actually works better than you'd think!)

  3. Compare single-step vs multi-step forms

  4. Test showing reviews vs no reviews

  5. Play with timing (but only after the other stuff)

Flows tests:

  1. Test email timing (12 hours vs 24-48 hours between emails)

  2. Try different subject lines (with emojis vs without, questions vs statements)

  3. Mix up your email design (fancy vs simple)

  4. Test button colors and text (yes, it actually matters!)

  5. Experiment with email order (especially in welcome flows)

Campaigns optimizations:

  1. Figure out your best send times first

  2. Test showing prices vs hiding them

  3. Try different product layouts

  4. Keep mixing up your content (some fancy, some simple)
