Klaviyo Pricing Update Is Here...

Klaviyo recently rolled out a new pricing update.

If you don’t act now, you might end up overpaying some serious $$$.

What’s changing?

Klaviyo used to bill their users based on monthly active profiles or monthly email sends (usage).

Right now they’ll be doing it only based on the number of active profiles you have.

It means that if you have 50k active profiles but your monthly email usage is 250k per month because you have inactive profiles.

Well, now you’ll have to pay for all 50k profiles and 500k sends even if you’re not sending that many emails.

In this specific example you’d end up paying $720/mo instead of $400/mo.

That’s $3,840 more annually.

I agree - this change isn’t perfect but it might not mean it’s bad.

All you have to do to avoid this is get rid of your inactive profiles and clean your email list.

I bet you have subscribers who opted in 1 or 2 years ago but didn’t open a single email during that time or even didn’t receive anything.

To avoid paying more, you have to get rid of those low-quality subscribers who in 99% of the cases wouldn’t end up buying from you anyway.
