Abandoned carts and checkouts are one of the hottest topics in the entire ecommerce space.

It’s probably because 70% of all checkouts are abandoned which means that you are losing a lot of money as a brand if you don’t have the recovery system.

Without being vague anymore, this “system” should be your abandoned cart + checkout flows (yes, you need both).

But after you set them up, you should launch your first A/B test immediately.

And what’s the highest ROI test you can run?

Time delays.

I know it might seem too good to be true cause it’s not complicated or fancy but that’s the truth.

We’re always running it for all our clients and in some cases the winning variation has 2-3x more sales than the losing one.

So if you have this flow in place, just launch a 50/50 split with two paths:

1) 30 min delay → 11h 30 min delay → 12h delay → 12h delay → 12h delay

2) 2h delay → 22h delay → 1 day delay → 1 day delay → 12h delay
